"Making Your Family Life Happy"
so your Santee didn't post a request Nos'?! Is this the first time you've ever had to fulfil your promise?
ps - did you know most of the cds you're after are available on UK Amazon?
for those of you who signed up for the secret santa 2009 list here is where you give your secret santa an idea of things you might like.
it's hard enough to give gifts to people you know nevermind people you have never met.. so bearing in mind the $15 limit give us an idea what your favorite interests, colors are, or what things you might like.. in the past people have suggested something for their new christmas tree, a book, a cd of their favorite music, something from where their secret santa lives (something with the city's or country's name on it or an widely known item.. once people get their name they will be able to check back here to get an idea of what your interest is before they go shopping.. if you say "anything" or don't post then expect a surprise..

I've sent my parcel today - it doesn't have far to go so should be delivered in the next couple of days.
This year I've put a track on it because last year I hadn't and the person never acknowledged that they'd received it - so I've no idea whether it ever arrived or not
i always feel guilty about throwing out large items, and many times you can't so they wind up in the back of the garage waiting for a trip to the dump.. just recently i found a local forum called free recycle.
everyone posts what they have for free, or what they would like for free.
no deliveries, the person who wants it makes arrangements to have it picked up.. i joined on a whim.
Yup we've got Freecycle here in the UK too.
We also have some local charities which will take away furniture/electrical goods to help rehoused homeless and needy folks to at least get some basics in their new homes
Maybe the person just hasn't been able to get here to post yet Grace, don't worry!
mine is "silent night".
never get tired of listening to that one..
Just discovered this - wow!
Welcome on board!
I've got yours granny and Auntbee's arrived today.
Mine are all on their way - I posted them on Monday, which is 'pensions' pay day at the Post Office...
... can't think why the cashier seemed a little annoyed when I told her I wanted real stamps on them all rather than printed labels...
... and then I had to rummage for all the Canadian ones because I hadn't put a (compulsory) senders address on them LOL!
i enjoyed a number of the points in this essay.
dr. jaco gericke's deconversion story: "autobiography of a 'died-again' christian<snippets>.
it was a little late in the day, however, when i realised that studying theology can be a downright dangerous business for any believer.
Wow.
Just, wow!
littlebird, you're spot on - whether someone "was ever a Christian" is not our call to make - to do so is to put yourself in God's place and try to deny His grace to others.
sphere - the door's always open, keep journeying as you feel led and you'll get there - wherever 'there' is!
the kind that used to come in waxed white paper and would make your chin greasy before the first bite!.
an ice-cold pepsi or grape kool-aid would finish the meal, thank you.
sylvia.
Cow (or least the bits of cow that butcher won't sell - lips and arseoles), Chicken Ovulations,
You so nasty!!!
Dear, dear Sylvia - nasty but likely true
emo of the 'rarely eats meat unless it definitely looks like an actual slice of an animal' class!
john 1:1.. in the nwt reference bible, is there any acknowledgement of the original translation (ie; footnote).
(2) If Jesus is "god" in a lesser sense than the Father, then we would have two different true gods! Clearly Jesus is not a false god; hence He is true God. But if He is "god" in a different sense than the Father, that would violate the passages saying there is one true God!
But what about psalm 82:6 -
"I said, 'You are "gods";
you are all sons of the Most High.'
Which Jesus himself referred to? does he really have to be the true God when this verse is taken into account?
